SECURE WASTE ENCLOSURE

Guardian Screens and Shutters meticulously designed and built this enclosure in accordance with the client's specific needs and specifications.  Using Crimsafe Ultimate Security Screens, Guardian Screens and Shutters installed the largest French doorway ever completed by their team, measuring an impressive 3550 x 2400.  The result - an innovative and smart design, providing the client with excellent security, a large but secure opening with maximum airflow and improved functionality of the facility.

JEWEL - BIRTINYA ISLAND

This ground-floor apartment required an innovative design that addressed many aspects; security, natural light, privacy, ventilation, and insect control. Guardian SmartGuard Shutters, certified to the Australian Security Screen Standards were used for this installation to meet the clients needs. This project set out to secure all windows and doorways - including a 7 panel concertina door. Guardian designed and created a new system to give the client complete peace of mind with all the added benefits of combined security screens and plantation shutters.

BESPOKE FRENCH DOORS

This project posed a unique challenge; securing a non-standard cathedral-style double set of French doors. The homeowners' key concerns were discreet security and natural cross ventilation to reduce reliance on air conditioning. This projects innovation lies in the design, manufacture, and installation of non-standard Amplimesh Supa Screen security doors that precisely matched the acute angles of the cathedral French doors. The outcome - perfectly matched security doors that met all client requirements - security, ventilation, privacy, and resilience to corrosion in a saltwater-adjacent environment.

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions

The Yale Unity Security Screen Door Lock is designed to suit most security screen doors to retrofit, or add as a new install to the home. Its patented digital deadlocking technology ensures secure engagement of handles via smart device or key tag activation. Controlled through the Yale Home App, it offers remote locking/unlocking, one-time access, scheduled access, and visitor logs. It also includes a built-in door position sensor for real-time status updates.

Highly sophisticated and tailored specifically for the Australian market, this product features high levels of functionality and security with sleek aesthetics.

Scorpio Screens & Blinds

The Ultra Secua Digital Lock is a digitally operated triple pin locking hinged security door lock, which has removed the need for keys. Instead, it works with a pin code, RFTD tags and a user-friendly app. The Secua Lock has been designed to suit existing industry designed cutouts and comes with all the necessary components to suit new or existing security doors. Designed for easy installation, with all electronic components in the exterior casing, it can be fitted like a standard lock. The built-in electronic keypad can have up to 150 or 200 RFTD tags to operate. The Ultra Secua Digital Lock is an intelligent design with a high degree of functionality, strong connectivity capabilities with great aesthetics and inbuilt redundant capacity inclusions.

Michael Siwek is an exceptional individual, business leader and industry contributor. His instrumental role in shaping the NSSA and the Australian Standards for the security screen industry over the years has left an indelible mark.

Michael's role in the inception and growth of the NSSAQ, which evolved to become the NSSA, is  truly commendable. As the winner of the 2023 NSSA Achievement Award, this recognition is a testament to his outstanding work, contributions and achievements not only for the association but in the many facets of the security screen industry over the years, including but not limited to, President and founding member of the Amplimesh Dealer Association of Queensland Inc, Member and Chair of the Australian Standards CS-023 Committee - developing the Australian Standards for Security Screen doors and grilles, President of the National Association for Crime Prevention, President of the NSSAQ and working with industry hardware and system suppliers including Crimsafe and ASSA ABLOY.

Michael's contributions provide a legacy for our industry to continue to grow and prosper.
