This award recognises outstanding innovation in the design, development, or application of a component, product, or technology within the security screen industry. Nominations should demonstrate how the innovation addresses emerging needs or challenges in the market - such as security, esthetics, user experience, smart technology, integration, or ease of maintenance, and highlight the positive impact on customers, business operations, or the broader industry.

BEST INSTALLATION - COMMERCIAL

This award recognises security screen products that complement and enhance the design of a construction. These products are presented to highlight the way in which they contribute to, and improve, the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the construction/building.

Commercial applications include:

Office building, hotel, motel, apartment complex, facility, aged care living, shop or building used for the sale of goods or commercial use, hospital, education facility, railway station, bride, community structure. 

BEST INSTALLATION - RESIDENTIAL

This award recognises security screen products that enhance both the livability and design elements of a home. These products are showcased to emphasise their role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the residential space.

Residential applications apply to: a single dwelling; A detached house, terrace house, town house, villa or unit. 

BEST INSTALLATION - $7,000 RETAIL OR LESS

This award recognises smaller security screening projects that enhance and improve the functionality of a space, or feature, and shows great aesthetic appeal, installation innovation and meets a specific need or design element. 

$7,000* retail, (does not include cost of labour).

NSSA SMALL BUSINESS AWARD

This award shines a light on excellence in small business, and seeks to provide new opportunities for small business promotion, growth, and advancement.

The NSSA Business Awards are a great way for your business to showcase your innovation and creativity, exceptional customer service or operations, remarkable business practice and contributions to the industry or your community. 

Small Business is defined as 1-4 employees.

NSSA MEDIUM BUSINESS AWARD

Distinguish your business as an SME business leader in the security screen industry.

The NSSA Business Awards are a great way for your business to showcase your innovation and creativity, exceptional customer service or operations, remarkable business practice and contributions to the industry or your community. 

Medium Business is defined as 5-19 employees.

NSSA ACHIEVMENT AWARD

The NSSA Achievement Award recognises outstanding performance and contributions by individuals or partnerships within the security screen industry, past or present.

Open to all NSSA members and employees, nominations are welcome for those who have shown excellence in their business, career, field, or passion. We are looking for members who have made a significant impact, who are deserving of recognition for their exceptional contribution or influence.

NSSA RISING STAR

The NSSA Rising Star Award celebrates individuals, whether new to the industry or growing within it, who demonstrate outstanding potential, commitment, and a passion for learning and professional development.

Open to all NSSA Members and employees, this award recognises those who show initiative, dedication to their craft, and a positive contribution to their workplace or the wider industry.

The Rising Star is someone who represents the future of the security screen sector, with a strong drive to grow, lead, and make a lasting impact.
